At Cumberland Medical Center, our team of dedicated employees and physicians is committed to fostering better health in our community. Our facility provides private rooms and specialized services that go above and beyond what you’d normally find in a rural hospital, making excellent healthcare accessible to patients across the Cumberland Plateau.

Cumberland has received “A” grades in patient safety from The Leapfrog Group and is a Joint Commission-accredited acute-care hospital. This means that in addition to our many other services, we are well-equipped to provide medical attention and support for patients who need intensive, short-term treatment for a serious injury or illness.

To complete the health team, there are more than 100 physicians working with over 600 employees and 100+ volunteers to deliver quality care to the residents of the Cumberland Plateau.
