The American College of Radiology and American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists recommend annual screening mammograms for women over the age of 40. Covenant Health has breast centers throughout our region, and many of our locations offer tomosynthesis, a 3-D imaging technique that can detect breast cancer earlier – even in dense breast tissue. Covenant Health provides behavioral health services through Peninsula, a division of Parkwest Medical Center. Peninsula offers outpatient services at its area clinics, inpatient services at Peninsula Hospital, and Senior Behavioral Health services at Parkwest Medical Center for older patients experiencing psychiatric issues. Covenant Health also offers grief support groups, including Katerpillar Kids Camp for children who have lost a loved one and need bereavement support.
