Methodist Family Medicine Clinic Welcomes New Physician Elizabeth Dockery, DO

Welcome, Dr. Dockery!

Methodist Family Medicine Clinic welcomes family medicine physician Elizabeth Dockery, DO, to the medical team. Dr. Dockery will join Jim Schindler, MD, to care for patients in the Oak Ridge area. Dr. Dockery treats patients of all ages and speaks English and Spanish.

She earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from Lincoln Memorial University DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine (LMU-DCOM) in Harrogate, Tennessee. She completed her residency in family medicine at S. Hughes Melton Family Medicine Residency at Johnson Memorial Hospital in Abingdon, Virginia. Her clinical interests are women’s health, preventative medicine, sports medicine, and pediatrics.

“I love working with people of all ages on achieving better health. I love being a primary care physician because I get to meet people of all ages and walks of life,” Dr. Dockery said. “This clinic was built in conjunction with the Methodist Family Medicine Residency program, so I will be one of several faculty members who oversee new doctors who are completing their family medicine residency. This program will create more providers for the clinic and ultimately serve the community.”

She says, “I hope this clinic becomes a core part of the community and that people in the Oak Ridge area feel comfortable coming to us for their family’s healthcare. I want to make sure people know we will provide excellent care of them and their family.”

Methodist Family Medicine Clinic is a newly established practice in Anderson County that provides comprehensive medical care to people when and where they need it – close to home. The practice is located at 200 New York Avenue in Westmall Medical Park in Suite 150. The clinic is now accepting new patients of all ages.
