Colin McRae has been named the new vice president of support services for Parkwest Medical Center. Since 2023, McRae served as vice president of operations for the ABA Centers of America in Tennessee and Georgia. He has 20 years of executive level leadership experience in healthcare.
While at ABA Centers of America, McRae opened the first ABA clinics in Tennessee and Georgia in his first 90 days of hire. He also outlined plans for the opening of three additional clinics by April 2024. The center provides in-home, in-community and in-school applied behavioral analysis, as well as diagnosing services, to individuals with autism spectrum disorder.
“Our teams at Parkwest and Peninsula are excited to welcome Colin to our facilities,” said Devan Johnson, president and chief administrative officer of Parkwest. “His leadership experience will be a valuable asset to our team members.”
“I have lived in the area for over 10 years and have great respect for the reputation and excellent care provided at Parkwest, and I am extremely excited to join the team,” said McRae.
McRae has served in leadership positions for numerous Tennova Healthcare locations, as well as hospitals in Florida and Texas.
McRae holds a Master of Healthcare Administration degree from Virginia Commonwealth University, and a bachelor’s degree in economics from East Carolina University. He is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives and has previously earned recognitions for his healthcare leadership.
