Stephen’s Nominations

“Stephen is an incredible asset to the 5R team. He goes above and beyond for patients, family members, and coworkers alike. He will greet you with a smile and will always do his best to help you in any way he can. Patients often comment on his compassion, patience, and uplifting personality. There are several situations that prove Stephen to be deserving of this award. Just last week, an elderly patient walked out of her room and appeared to be confused. Without question, Stephen walked up to her and greeted her like they were old friends. He guided her back to her room and engaged her in conversation. I could hear him asking her how her husband was doing. Stephen does little things like this on a daily basis. Little things that make a huge impact on our patients. You can usually find him running around the unit. Between answering call lights and phone calls, passing trays, assisting the nursing staff and so much more. He never stops. Stephen is the definition of an exceptional employee and deserves to be recognized. We appreciate you, Stephen!

“Stephen is seriously the hardest worker I have ever met. He genuinely cares about his patients and all people on the floor and always volunteers to help out in anyway he can. He does not stop! When Stephen is on the floor you know the day is going to run so much more smoothly. 5R is hectic and he is willing to go to all call lights and not just the ones he’s assigned to. I truly appreciate all of his help and everything he does for us.”

“Stephen was called to a code crimson and his support was the reason the patient lived. He is the glue of our floor. He is always ready to help and always goes above and beyond for his team and patients.”

“Stephen is the hardest working man I have ever seen and he deserves this award. He got called back to the unit after a code settled down and was told that he was the reason that this patient lived. Thank you, Stephen, for everything.”
