Jerry Hornback presented with second BEE Award

Congratulations to Jerry Hornback, one of our health unit coordinators, for being recognized with his second BEE award. Jerry was nominated by a patient for providing excellent patient care.

Jerry’s Nomination

“Jerry is so proactive. He anticipated what I needed before I knew it. He bathed me completely while making me feel dignity and not embarrassed. He chose to protect my modesty, made me laugh and kept all of my needs met during many days of my stay.

Jerry never hesitated to bend over backwards and go the extra mile. He would remake my bed just because it got a little wrinkly.

He always got what I needed before I asked and he was always so considerate.

I respect that he works so efficiently and doesn’t just strike up conversation to just make his patient think he likes them.

In contrast, Jerry truly shows deep respect and care for his patients through his actions.

To me that is the best worker in the world and should be greatly treasured.

Thank you, Jerry. You make the world a much better place.”
