FLAME Award Winner – Jonyca Lowery

Congratulations to FLAME Award winner Jonyca Lowery! Jonyca was nominated by a coworker for her extra care towards the patients she serves. As a member of our dietary services team, Jonyca frequently interacts with patients about their dietary needs and preferences. Her nominator says that she always has a positive attitude and consistently goes out of her way to make sure every patient has what they need. In one particular instance, Jonyca noticed a patient was only eating grapes out of her fruit cup. She asked the patient if she liked grapes, which she did. So, Jonyca brought the patient a full plate of grapes without being asked. Little gestures like this go a long way toward positively impacting our patient’s stay in the hospital, so thank you for making a difference, Jonyca!
