The incredible physical and hormonal changes of pregnancy can significantly affect overall daily function. Minor discomfort is common, but for the 25 percent of women who experience temporary debilitation, specially trained physical therapists can provide effective relief

Specialized women’s therapy is available for:

Pregnancy Care – to assist with severe low back or pelvic pain, carpal tunnel syndrome, thoracic outlet syndrome, tendonitis, and other musculoskeletal difficulties including circulatory problems.

Postpartum Care – to assist with stress urinary incontinence, pelvic floor trauma, episiotomy scar pain, and help in establishment of exercise programs.

C-section care – to assist with incisional pain reduction, scar mobility, gas pain reduction and postural mechanics.

Urinary incontinence and Pelvic pain – These problems can occur throughout a woman’s life cycle and can be treated conservatively through exercise, behavioral modification, muscular stretching and retraining, modalities, and many other therapeutic techniques.
