Covenant Health Parkwest supports the education of licensed LPNs and Certified Surgical Technologists
Licensed Practical Nurse Scholarship Program
We’re proud to partner with TCAT Knoxville on a new LPN program being hosted at Parkwest Medical Center, and to offer scholarships to many of the applicants who qualify.
- 15-30 students every year will have their tuition costs paid by Covenant Health Parkwest, with an approximate value of $6500.
- Scholarship students will work for Parkwest with flexible hours during their schooling, and sign a two-year commitment to remain employed with Parkwest after their graduation.
- Scholarship students will have access to other internal resources for their LPN program such as study groups, mentor programs, and clinicals at Covenant Health Parkwest.

- You must first be accepted into TCAT’s LPN program.
- After being accepted by TCAT, fill out the form on this page to apply.
Certified Surgical Technologists Scholarships
$6,500 in scholarship funds, paid as $1,500 scholarship, and an additional $5,000 upon completion of the certification/licensure exam. These awards are offered yearly, with quarterly applications and deadlines.
Criteria to be considered for the scholarship program:
- Currently enrolled student in an accredited program
- Complete application by deadline
- Complete interview process
- Complete employment process for PRN status at Parkwest
- Maintain PRN employment with flexible hours while in the program (72 hours/quarter)
- Complete clinical program
- Pass certification/licensure exam
- Accept employment at Covenant Health Parkwest upon completion and commit to a two-year employment agreement.
