Team Approach to Education and Therapy
Our joint centers offer a new approach to joint replacement surgery that’s designed to speed and ease recovery for knee and hip patients. You’ll start with a pre-surgery class that explains every detail of your surgery, hospital stay and rehabilitation. You’ll meet patients who will recover along with you and provide support. After surgery, a team of physical therapists, clinicians, and occupational therapists help you gain mobility. Group therapy with your own team is combined with patient-specific individual therapy. By the time you leave the hospital, you’re well on the road to recovery.

Patient Testimonials
Tim Boyd of Lenoir City
“It’s so rewarding to see how far my mobility has come since getting my new knee. I highly recommend anyone who needs to have a total knee, do it sooner rather than later. Life is so much better when you’re in the game rather than on the sidelines. My experience at Parkwest certainly has me back in the game.”
Pete Leitnaker of Kingston
“The pain control was good. If you pushed a button, you could count the time in seconds before someone responded. The staff at the Methodist Joint Replacement Center understand excellence.”
