Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center is the state’s first and only facility to hold accreditation from the National Accreditation Program for Rectal Cancer (NAPRC), a quality program of the American College of Surgeons.

Fort Sanders is located adjacent to Thompson Cancer Survival Center and the two organizations collaborate to ensure top cancer care for patients.

More than a world-class cancer center, Thompson is a cancer survival center, where leading cancer specialists use the most advanced technologies to achieve breakthrough successes in treating many types of cancer. Physicians are supported by a team of patient navigators, dieticians, genetics counselors, clinical trials coordinators, physicists, pharmacists, therapists, technologists, oncology nurses, social workers and counselors.
