Frequently Asked Questions
What can I expect for my first day?
On your first day, you will attend an all-day company-wide orientation. Depending on your role, you may have a second day of orientation at your respective facility.
Where do I go for Day 2?
On your second day, you should report to your facility. Visit our Campus Maps page for facility information and addresses. Please reach out to your hiring manager if you have questions regarding the location of your facility orientation.
What can I expect for my first week?
Your first day will consistent of a company-wide orientation. Depending on your role, you may have a second day of orientation at your respective facility. To determine what the rest of your week will consist of, please reach out to your hiring manager for more information.
When will I get my first paycheck?
Covenant Health processes payroll on a bi-weekly basis depending on your facility. Please reach out to your hiring manager for more information.
What color scrubs do I need?
Your required scrub color is dependent on your facility and department. Please contact your manager for more information on your required attire. For non-clinical positions, please refer to the dress code.
When do I get my badge?
Most new employees will receive their badge on their second day.
When can I enroll in benefits?
You will get an email notification when your benefits portal opens at the end of your first week. You will have 30 days to enroll or waive your benefits; after this 30-day period, you will only be able to make changes to your selections during open enrollment (usually held in October) or if you have a life-changing event (e.g., get married or have a child). The start date of your benefits coverage depends on your facility. Please reach out to your hiring manager for more information or visit CovNet, our employee intranet.
Employee Referral Program
Covenant Health Employment Services designates certain vacant positions as eligible for Employee Referral Bonuses. When current employees refer people to these Covenant Health jobs, and the people referred are then hired into a qualifying position, the current employee may be eligible to receive a referral bonus.

Education Assistance
Education assistance is fast-tracked for employees pursuing one of the following positions (both full-time and part-time employees are eligible):
- ASN
- BSN
- LPN
- CST
- Imaging tech
- Lab tech
- Respiratory therapists
- Cardiovascular technology
- Coding/HIM degrees
Reimbursement amounts vary depending on your employment status. There are no service requirements to apply for an expedited program, but a one-year commitment following the final reimbursement is required.

Student Loan Repayment
Covenant Health is proud to offer a Student Loan Repayment Assistance Program to help employees pay off student loan debt faster. The program contributes up to $75 monthly* toward the principle amount of an employee’s eligible student loans. This can equal thousands of dollars over the duration of the loan repayment!
Who is eligible to receive student loan repayment assistance?
To qualify, employees must meet these requirements:
- You must be an active, full-time employee at Covenant Health for at least six consecutive months
- Your student loans must be in your name and used for your own education
- Your loans must be current and not in collections or default
*Contribution amount is based on employee tenure.
Covenant Health is also a qualifying organization for the federal Public Student Loan Forgiveness program.
