Parkwest Medical Center Recognized by Women’s Choice Award

Parkwest Medical Center recently received The Women’s Choice Award for Best Hospitals™ in five categories. A member of Covenant Health, Parkwest’s recognitions include bariatrics, cancer care, orthopedics and patient safety, and as a best mammogram imaging center.

The Women’s Choice Award® rates healthcare facilities nationwide on metrics to help women make smart healthcare choices. These include relevant clinical performance, patient satisfaction and accreditations that focus on females’ experiences. The annual rankings are based on data from:

• the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services,
• the Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems patient satisfaction survey results, and
• relevant accreditation information and the American Hospital Directory.

Other Covenant Health hospitals recognized include Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center in Knoxville, LeConte Medical Center in Sevierville and Methodist Medical Center in Oak Ridge.
