Methodist Medical Center Earns Recognition from Women’s Choice Award

January 2026 – Methodist Medical Center has been awarded The Women’s Choice Award for Best Hospitals™ in three categories in 2026.

Methodist was ranked in the top 10% of hospitals in cancer care, top 9% in heart care and top 5% in patient safety. In 2025, it was also recognized as a best mammogram imaging center.

To identify America’s “Best Hospitals,” The Women’s Choice Award® rates hospitals and healthcare facilities nationwide based on metrics including relevant clinical performance, patient satisfaction and appropriate accreditations that focus on the female experience to help women make smart healthcare choices.

The annual rankings are determined based on data from The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, the Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems patient satisfaction survey results, relevant accreditation information and the American Hospital Directory.

Other Covenant Health hospitals recognized include Claiborne Medical Center in Tazewell, Fort Sanders Regional and Parkwest Medical Centers in Knoxville, LeConte Medical Center in Sevierville and Roane Medical Center in Harriman.
