Questions about your estimate range? Call one of our Peninsula Behavioral Health patient account representatives at (865) 373-8214 (inpatient) or (865) 374-7100 (outpatient). If you already have a physician’s order, we can provide a more exact quote based on your specific insurance plan.

Standard Charges

Hospitals are required by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) to post “standard charges” on their websites. The gross charge for a medical service or procedure is not the amount patients with or without insurance pay, or that Medicare or other Federal and commercial payers always pay. Your actual cost is determined by the price agreements between hospitals and your insurance plan. For a more accurate estimation of your cost range, please use our interactive estimator tool at the top of this page.

In addition, some services you receive at our hospitals may be provided by other healthcare providers not employed by Covenant Health, such as radiologists, pathologists, and some surgeons. These providers typically bill patients separately and their fees are not part of our “standard charge” listing.
