Giving
Peninsula Behavioral Health
Peninsula Behavioral Health meets the needs of thousands of patients and their families each year. As our programs continue to serve our community, there are many opportunities for you to further strengthen our services and contribute to our success.
Donations to Peninsula Behavioral Health are used to support services such as patient and family education programs, chaplaincy services, innovative therapies and support groups, capital improvements, and continuing education and certification opportunities for the staff. Opportunities are also available for donors to specify particular behavioral health needs or programs where they would like to make an impact with a charitable gift. All gifts to Peninsula Behavioral Health qualify as charitable deductions for tax purposes.
Artsclamation!
Peninsula Behavioral Health is the beneficiary of funds raised through the annual Artsclamation! Fine Art Sale held each year on the first weekend of December. The two-day event features more than 35 local and regional artists, including painters, photographers, jewelers, woodworkers and sculptors. A percentage of each artist’s sales is donated to Peninsula.
Memorials & Honorariums
Contributions made in memory, or in honor, of a loved one are opportunities for patients, families, and friends to pay tribute to a special person and help others in need at the same time. These gifts are an excellent way to honor Peninsula staff, therapists and physicians who have provided you outstanding service. Other events that may call for special recognition include birthdays, anniversaries, and graduations. A contribution to Peninsula in honor of the special person is a wonderful way to show your care for them.
Families may request that friends make a contribution to Peninsula in lieu of flowers at the time of a loved one’s death. This information can be added to the obituary notice in local papers, and is a truly meaningful way to memorialize a loved one and ensure the future of high quality behavioral health care in East Tennessee.
