Parkwest Physical Therapy Self-Referral Information

Depending on your insurance, you may now be able to self-refer for physical, occupational and speech therapy sessions.

How many therapy sessions can I have?

You may have up to six therapy sessions over 15 days.

What if I need more than six sessions?

After six sessions, you will need physician orders to continue therapy.

What if I need more sessions during the year?

If you have been treated through self-referral for the same condition within the last 90 days, you will need a physician order for more sessions. If it has been greater than 90 days or you have a different condition, you can self-refer again.

Will my insurance cover self-referred therapy sessions?

Yes, most insurances will cover self-referred sessions. We will verify your coverage before your first session.
