Amputee Rehabilitation

Physical therapists help patients prepare for surgery, and regain strength, movement, and function following surgery.

Concussion Management

A concussion is a traumatic brain injury caused by a sudden blow or impact to the head. Symptoms of a concussion may be brief or may linger for months or longer. Research has shown that early intervention following a concussion can significantly reduce th elong-term impacts and allow the patient to return to work, school, recreation and sports safely. Our therapists  provide comprehensive, multidisciplinary rehabilitation to patients following a concussion.

Dizziness/Vertigo

An exercise-based approached aimed at eliminating or minimizing imbalance and dizziness associated with vestibular (inner ear) disorders.

Headaches

Treatment of cervicogenic headaches (headaches caused by tightness of the neck muscles).

Manual Therapy

Therapists use skilled hand movements on joints and soft tissues to improve tissue extensibility, increase range of motion, induce relaxation, modulate pain, or reduce swelling.

McKenzie Method

The McKenzie Method provides superior functional outcomes for the back, neck, and extremity problems. It emphasizes education and active patient involvement to quickly decrease pain, restore normal function, prevent a recurrence, and minimize other medical interventions.

“They treat you like family here. I get one-on-one time with the therapists where the focus is completely on my plan. It is very individualized, and I appreciate that.”

  • Three women in medical scrubs stand smiling behind an older man sitting in a chair. They appear to be in a medical office, with a poster of hands and wrists anatomy visible on the wall.
“The entire team was phenomenal. They pushed me, and even small exercises, like picking marbles out of Play-Doh, helped me do more than I ever expected.”

  • Two women stand smiling in front of a blue therapy table in a medical or physical therapy clinic. One wears a striped sweater and a name badge; the other wears a burgundy top and jeans. Curtains and windows are in the background.
“They listened. They explained everything, and they helped me get my life back. Their support made a difficult situation feel manageable.”
