Knoxville Heart Group Welcomes Elliott Goodwin, DO
July 2025 – Covenant Health and Covenant Medical Group are pleased to welcome Elliott Goodwin, DO, to Knoxville Heart Group’s Downtown Knoxville location. Dr. Goodwin specializes in cardiac electrophysiology. His clinical interests include atrial fibrillation, supraventricular tachycardia, ventricular tachycardia, catheter ablation procedures, pacemaker implantation, cardiac resynchronization device implantation, cardiac defibrillator implantation, and cardiac device extraction.
Dr. Goodwin earned his medical degree from Lincoln Memorial University’s DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine in Harrogate, Tennessee. He completed an advanced fellowship in cardiac electrophysiology at Saint Luke’s Mid America Heart Institute in Kansas City, Missouri, and a cardiovascular disease fellowship at the University of Tennessee Graduate School of Medicine in Knoxville. He completed his internal medicine residency at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington.
Dr. Goodwin is board-certified in cardiovascular disease and internal medicine from the American Board of Internal Medicine. He is a resident member of the American College of Cardiology and the American Society of Echocardiography.
When not at work, Dr. Goodwin enjoys fly fishing, whitewater rafting and kayaking, and snow skiing.
