Cardiology Associates of East Tennessee Welcomes Shawn Baldwin, MD

March 2026 – Covenant Health and Covenant Medical Group are pleased to welcome Shawn Baldwin, MD, to Cardiology Associates of East Tennessee‘s electrophysiology location. He is an electrophysiologist specializing in complex ablations and devices.

Dr. Baldwin earned his medical degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, Texas. He completed his internal medicine residency at the University of Alabama at Birmingham and cardiology and electrophysiology fellowships at the University of Florida & Shands in Gainesville.

Dr. Baldwin is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, American Board of Cardiovascular Disease and American Board of Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology. He is a member of the Heart Rhythm Society.
