Meet the New Hamblen Women’s Care Team

Women deserve care that’s advanced, close to home, and delivered by professionals who truly listen. Covenant Health is proud to introduce our team of Certified Nurse Midwives who will be serving women at Hamblen Women’s Care and delivering babies at Covenant Health Morristown-Hamblen Labor & Delivery. This new clinic will open this February at 609 McFarland Street in Morristown, TN.

Meet Our Certified Nurse Midwives

Shannan Calhoon, CNM

Shannan earned her Master of Science in Nursing with a focus on Nurse-Midwifery from the University of Miami and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Indiana University. With decades of experience in hospital-based birthing centers and rural practices, Shannan has  served as a clinical faculty member and preceptor, mentoring future nurses and midwives. Her expertise includes OB/GYN care, primary care for women, and surgical first assist.

Amanda Horn, CNM

Amanda earned her Master of Science in Nursing–Midwifery from Frontier Nursing University and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Creighton University. She brings two years of midwifery experience and a strong background as a labor and delivery nurse, with previous roles at Holston Medical Group in Bristol, Knoxville Integrative Women’s Health, and Women’s Healthcare of Morristown. Amanda is passionate about providing personalized care for women throughout their lifespan.

Jamie Pacheco, CNM

Jamie earned her Master of Science in Nursing-Midwifery from Frontier Nursing University and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Berea College. She holds a Perinatal Mental Health Certification and advanced training in OB ultrasound. Jamie has practiced in birth centers, hospitals, and home birth settings across the U.S. and internationally, bringing a wealth of experience in both low- and high-risk obstetrics and women’s health.

Kenzie Jones, CNM

Kenzie earned her Master of Science in Nursing–Midwifery from Frontier Nursing University and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from East Tennessee State University, graduating magna cum laude. She completed more than 675 clinical hours in office and hospital settings across Knoxville and Bristol and is certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support. Her background includes caring for women in hospital and clinic settings, where she guides patients through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum with skill and thoughtful communication.

Stephanie Maupin, CNM

Stephanie holds a Doctor of Nursing Practice in Midwifery and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center. She is a Certified Lactation Counselor with a strong background in labor and delivery nursing. Stephanie is passionate about patient safety and comfort. She has experience managing obstetric emergencies and supporting families through childbirth and postpartum care.
