Our team of Certified Nurse Midwives are licensed healthcare professionals with advanced training in women’s health and midwifery.
From your first gynecological visit as a preteen or teen through the changes of menopause, we understand a woman’s healthcare concerns throughout her lifetime. We offer compassionate and experienced care for all your gynecology needs.
Midwives also support women through pregnancy, labor, birth and postpartum by providing personalized, evidence based care. Giving birth is more than a medical event; it’s a personal journey to parenthood. Expectant mothers deserve compassionate care throughout all stages of pregnancy

Covenant Health Hamblen Women’s Care Certified Nurse Midwives will deliver at Morristown Hamblen Hospital. For women facing a high-risk pregnancy, we partner with the perinatologists at Fort Sanders Perinatal Center

Should I go to the hospital if I bleed early in pregnancy?
Some bleeding is completely normal and is not an emergency. If you experience bleeding during the first 14 weeks of pregnancy, please call the office the next business day to talk with one of our nurses.
If I am instructed to go to the hospital, where do I go?
For life-threatening emergencies, call 911 or go to the hospital closest to you. If your situation is urgent, but not life-threatening, go to Covenant Health Morristown-Hamblen at 908 W 4th North Street Morristown, TN 37816, where all of our physicians have staff privileges and there will be a Covenant Health Hamblen Women’s Care doctor on call. Is there a way to make my office visit go faster?
Yes! Please arrive 30 minutes before your scheduled appointment and bring your photo ID and current health insurance information. On your first visit, you will be asked to fill out registration forms. You may choose to pre-register by downloading, printing and completing these forms and bringing them to your appointment. The forms are available in the Patient Information section of this page. Completing the forms prior to your visit will help speed up the new patient registration process.
