Cardiac rehabilitation helps individuals with chronic cardiovascular disease to live well and reduce the risk of future cardiac events. Covenant Therapy Centers offer physical therapy at more than a dozen locations. Many locations also offer occupational and speech therapy along with specialized programs such as sports medicine, orthopedic and neurological rehabilitation, Parkinson’s therapy, balance and vestibular therapy, hand and lymphedema treatment, and pelvic floor therapy. The nationally recognized Patricia Neal Rehabilitation Center is the area’s leader in rehabilitating stroke, spinal cord, and brain injury patients. A CARF-accredited, 73-bed facility, the Patricia Neal Center uses a comprehensive team approach to care. Physical, occupational, recreational, behavioral medicine and speech-language therapists work with physiatrists (rehabilitation specialists) to design individual plans of care for patients.
