Making an Outpatient Appointment with Peninsula
Routine new patient appointments are normally scheduled within 2-3 weeks.
How to Schedule Your First Appointment
New outpatient patient appointments must be scheduled by calling 865-970-9800. Routine new patient appointments are normally scheduled within 2-3 weeks. Please let us know if you are calling about a court ordered evaluation or a consultation regarding a specific medication. We may need to refer you to another type of service to meet those needs.
What to Expect During Your First Appointment
In your first visit we will work with you to identify your behavioral health service needs. This will include a general health screening. You will see a nurse and a behavioral health counselor. If we determine that psychiatric medications will be helpful, we will make a follow-up appointment for a medication evaluation.

- Photo ID
- Medications
- Face mask/covering
Children under 16 must be accompanied by their legal guardian or parent, not a step-parent. Bring any legal paperwork regarding your child.
