We Have a Variety of Expertise to Provide You Exceptional Care

The most common roles that help provide patient care are listed below; however we require all staff members to wear a name badge to help distinguish them and their roles. We encourage you to ask questions if you become concerned about someone’s role.
Case Manager
A specially-trained professional who oversees the process of your care and helps make sure you are referred to specialty appointments and have necessary equipment for care available after discharge.
Dietitians
The hospital has registered dietitians to help manage your dietary needs in the hospital. They can also help arrange special dietary plans and doctor-prescribed dietary counseling.
Engineering
Our engineering team helps maintain our building’s physical structure and mechanical needs. This includes plumbing, lighting, and electrical needs as well as heat and air.
Environmental Services
Environmental Services is often referred to as housekeeping and/or laundry. They help keep areas throughout the hospital, including patient rooms, clean.
Laboratory
Laboratory staff may visit your room to help collect blood samples for analysis as requested by your physician.
Nursing Staff
We provide a 24-hour team of professionally registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, and certified nursing assistants. They report to a unit specified nurse manager and help assist patient care needs as directed daily by the nursing supervisor.
Physicians
You are admitted to the hospital by a physician. Our team of hospitalist physicians specialize in treating patients in our hospital setting. They work closely with a variety of specialists as well as your primary care provider to help navigate your plan of care.
Radiology
Radiology, also commonly referred to as Imaging, includes a team of certified professionals who utilize a variety of portable and stationary technology to assist physicians by scanning for images through the use of modalities like X-ray, CT, Ultrasound, and MRI.
Therapy
We have licensed therapists who are highly-trained to support physical therapy for mobility support; occupational therapy for daily living activity strengthening; and speech therapy to help build muscles used for speech and swallowing.
Respiratory
Our respiratory therapists assess your respiratory status and provide breathing treatments and intervention to support your respiratory function.
Transport
We have staff that may help transport you to various points within the hospital through the primary use of a wheelchair or stretcher.
Volunteers
We have an active group of volunteers who assist our staff with various needs within the hospital. They wear name tags and their uniform often includes a royal blue and white attire.
