Responsibilities
- Develops a recommendation for the best digital engagement platform for Covenant Health’s needs that provides marketing automation through email, SMS, and other digital platforms such as Covenant Health’s app.
- Engages consumers through email by building communication campaigns.
- Leads, develops, and manages digital strategies that impact patient experience, grow audience, and drive loyalty.
- Researches and understands buyer personas per service line and develops.
- Remains up to date with the changing rules and landscape of social media, ensuring that Covenant Health is constantly on the cusp of the newest features and implementations.
- Maintains a consistent brand voice and tone for all digital content.
- Assists with SEO strategy, implementation, and measurement.
- Maps digital healthcare journey.
- Ability to manage multiple requests and competing priorities under tight deadlines while consistently delivering high-quality results.

Qualifications
Minimum Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Digital Marketing required.
Minimum Experience:
Three (3) years of professional experience in digital content marketing. Hands-on experience creating content in WordPress or equivalent content management platforms with a thorough understanding of functionality and expected behaviors. Understanding of digital marketing principles. Experience in SEO strategy and implementation. Experience with digital analytics concepts, including Google Analytics and report generation, and with ADA and Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG). Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Working under the direction of the Covenant Health Vice President of Marketing and Physician Services, together with the Chief Administrative Officers at each hospital, the Affiliate Marketing Manager executes marketing, internal and external communication tactics, media relations activities, internal and community events. This position develops and implements tactics in support of hospital and health system marketing strategy, assists in the development and monitoring of budgets and key success metrics in conjunction with the hospital and Covenant Health strategic plans. Additionally, this position engages frequently in outreach activities with physicians and community groups.
Marketing tactics including broadcast and print advertising, direct and database marketing,web based and social media marketing, physician relations, marketing and public relations events, media relations and internal communications.

- Acts as on-site leader and marketing liaison for corporate marketing leadership in areas of affiliate marketing strategy, physician relations, service line development and promotion, media and public Provides reports and information as requested to assist in the development of hospital specific campaigns and to assess effectiveness of campaigns and tactics
- Develops budget recommendations and deploys budgeted funds as directed and approved by Vice President of Marketing and Physician Services and hospital Chief Administrative Officers. Maintains accurate accounting records and manages resources to stay within budget
- Assists corporate marketing in developing marketing strategies related to physicians, Manages hospital execution of marketing tactics to achieve marketing objectives. Tactics include marketing, public relations, advertising, media relations, website and social media management,employee communications, physician relations and stakeholder development.
- Implements, tracks and reports key success metrics (ROI) for each campaign and marketing These include but are not limited to, return on marketing investment (ROI), media value, event evaluations, physician satisfaction, market share, brand perception and recognition.
- Implements hospital public relations tactics by collaborating with health system writers to produce news releases and media pitches and preparing and giving presentations and executing special communications.
- Responsible for on-call and after-hours media inquires and Support positive hospital media relations by collaborating with health system communication leadership in the development of news and feature material, rapid response to media inquiries and crisis communications.
Qualifications
Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, public relations, journalism, communications.
Minimum Experience: Three (3) + years marketing/ public relations experience with healthcare or hospital marketing/public relations experience preferred. Excellent organizational, relationship development and communication skills. Well versed in budget, data analysis, project management and outcomes reporting. Must possess excellent skills in writing, event development and execution, campaign development and production, and social media implementation. Managerial and problem-solving experience required. Must possess the ability to work against deadlines and excel in operating independently or in teams.
The position serves to coordinate and manage assigned projects and serve in a collaborative role with the hospital Affiliate Marketing Managers and others in the execution of a variety of internal/external projects, events, and initiatives.
The position will routinely communicate with and provide information to marketing leadership, hospital CAOs and their leadership, system leaders, Physician Placement Specialists (Recruiters), Physician Services Liaisons, and executive leadership in support of Covenant Health strategies and programs.

- Plans, writes, and maintains collateral materials for designated service lines and system programs as requested by the Vice President or leadership designee.
- Coordinates website, provides information, and supports the Covenant Online Store.
- Provides information for public relations inquiries and support as appropriate to the system public relations efforts both at a corporate level and an affiliate level as requested or needed.
- Provides direction and is central contact for Covenant sponsored events. Duties include producing exhibits and presentations, planning and coordination, arranging food and supplies, developing publicity, set up, and providing event support.
- Manages Physician Need and Supply Project as requested or needed. Works closely with Physician Placement Specialists (Recruiters), Community Physician Offices, CAOs, Decision Support, the Call Center and Statistician to ensure data is gathered timely, entered into the system, and available for reporting and distribution to support community need.
- Plans, coordinates, and conducts business development and referral outreach activities as requested by the Vice President or leadership designee.
- Provides support and development of key Covenant events to include Board Retreat and President’s Excellence Award. Coordinates event location, room and board selection, menu options, transportation arrangements, and presentation materials with minimal supervision.
- Follows policies, procedures, and safety standards. Completes required education assignments annually. Works toward achieving goals and objectives, and participates in quality improvement initiatives as requested.

Must have a minimum of three (3) years of experience.
