Knoxville Infectious Disease Consultants Welcomes Mark Irwin, DO
September 2025 – Covenant Health and Covenant Medical Group are pleased to welcome Mark Irwin, DO, MS, to Knoxville Infectious Disease Consultants.
Dr. Irwin earned his medical degree from Lincoln Memorial University’s DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine in Harrogate, Tennessee. He completed his infectious disease fellowship at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington, and his internal medicine residency at University of North Carolina Health Blue Ridge in Morgantown. He holds a master’s degree in biomedical professions from Lincoln Memorial University.
Dr. Goodwin is board-certified in internal medicine from the American Board of Internal Medicine. He is a member of the American College of Physicians, Infectious Diseases Society of America, and the HIV Medicine Association.
