Roane Medical Center Recognized by Women’s Choice Award

HARRIMAN, TENN. – July 2025 – Roane Medical Center is proud to be one of three hospitals in the state to be awarded The Women’s Choice Award for Best Hospitals™ in the “Small Hospitals for Comprehensive Care” category. Women’s Choice Award® defines small hospitals as hospitals with 25-100 beds.

To identify America’s “Best Hospitals,” The Women’s Choice Award® rates hospitals and healthcare facilities nationwide. It uses metrics including clinical performance, patient satisfaction, and appropriate accreditations that focus on the female experience. The annual rankings are determined based on data from The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services. Additionally, the Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems patient satisfaction survey results are considered. Relevant accreditation information and the American Hospital Directory are also used.

Roane Medical Center offers a range of services, including women’s services; medical, surgical and critical care. They also offer diagnostic imaging, cardiopulmonary rehabilitation, and various health screenings, including mammographies, ultrasounds, and lung cancer.
