Effective immediately, Gaye Jolly, acting CAO at LeConte Medical Center, has been named the hospital’s President and Chief Administrative Officer. Jolly has served since 2012 as President and Chief Administrative Officer at Roane Medical Center. Prior to becoming a hospital administrator, Jolly was Covenant Health’s Vice President of Supply Chain Management, and also has had corporate responsibilities for operations related to business systems, reimbursement and budgeting. She joined the health system as lab manager at Parkwest Medical Center in 1991.
Jason Pilant, acting CAO at Roane Medical Center, has been named President and Chief Administrative Officer at the hospital. Pilant previously served as Roane’s Chief Operations Officer, and also has served as Covenant Health’s Director of Supply Chain Operations and Director of Materials at Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center.
Carol Pahde is now Vice President and Chief Nursing Officer at LeConte Medical Center. Prior to her new role at LeConte, Pahde was Vice President and Chief Nursing Officer at Fort Loudoun Medical Center. She previously was Director of Nursing at Baptist Medical Group, Memphis.
Suzanne Miller is now Vice President and Chief Nursing Officer at Fort Loudoun Medical Center. Miller began her Covenant Health nursing career at Parkwest Medical Center in 1998 and previously served as Director of Patient Care Services at Parkwest.
“I appreciate each of these leaders and their willingness to take on these important responsibilities,” said Mike Belbeck, Executive Vice President of Operations for Covenant Health. “I congratulate each of them, and look forward to working with them in their new permanent roles.”
“We are pleased and fortunate to have these four individuals in hospital leadership roles at Covenant Health,” said Jim VanderSteeg, President and CEO. “They have extensive experience in hospital operations, and have used their administrative skills in different settings within our health system. They are respected by their colleagues, and most importantly, they share a commitment to our pledge of putting our patients first, excellence in everything they do, and making Covenant Health the first and best choice in their communities.”
