January 2026 – Covenant Health Roane has been recognized on Becker’s Hospital Review’s national 2025 list of “Top Recommended Hospitals.” The list names hospitals who received five-star patient recommendation ratings based on data collected from the Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (HCAHPS) and the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services.
Becker’s Hospital Review is a national publication focusing on hospital business news for healthcare executives. It compiled the “Top Recommended Hospitals” list based on HCAHPS patient survey responses to the question, “Would you recommend this hospital to your friends and family?”
“Being recognized as one of the most recommended hospitals is a tremendous honor for our team,” said Jeremy Biggs, president and chief administrative officer of Covenant Health Roane. “This achievement reflects our commitment to providing exceptional care and creating a welcoming environment where patients feel valued and supported. We are proud to serve our community and grateful for the trust our patients place in us every day.”
Covenant Health Roane was one of nine hospitals in Tennessee who received five stars for patient recommendations. Claiborne Medical Center, a sister facility of Roane, was also included on the list.
Covenant Health Roane is located in Harriman, Tennessee and is part of the Covenant Health system based in Knoxville, Tennessee. It offers comprehensive medical care including stroke care, imaging and diagnostics, emergency and surgical services. It is recognized as an Advanced Primary Stroke Center by the American Heart Association and has been named one of “America’s Best-in-State Hospitals” by Newsweek in 2025 and 2026.
