Covenant Health Claiborne Recognized by Becker’s Hospital Review as a Top Hospital for Nurse Communication

Covenant Health Claiborne has been recognized by Becker’s Hospital Review as one of the nation’s top hospitals for nurse communication. 

This national recognition highlights hospitals across the country that excel in one of the most important aspects of patient care: meaningful, compassionate communication between nurses and patients. Becker’s list is based on performance in the Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (HCAHPS) survey, which measures how well care teams connect with patients during their hospital experience.

These scores reflect how well nurses communicate with patients. This includes listening carefully, explaining clearly and demonstrating courtesy and respect. Together, these elements help ensure patients feel informed, supported and confident throughout their care journey.
