June 2026 — Covenant Health’s Claiborne Medical Center (CMC) has once again been named to the Becker’s Hospital Review list of the 396 Cleanest Hospitals in the United States. This is the third consecutive time the hospital has earned this distinction.
Clean, safe environments are a critical part of high-quality patient care. This recognition reflects CMC’s continued commitment to maintaining a facility where patients, families, and staff feel confident and protected.
What the Recognition Means for Patients
Hospitals included on this list have achieved a 5-star cleanliness rating from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). These ratings are based on direct patient feedback collected through standardized surveys about their hospital experiences.

Out of 396 hospitals nationwide, only eight hospitals in Tennessee received this recognition, highlighting Claiborne Medical Center’s exceptional performance.
