Congratulations to Patience Case, a patient care assistant, on 2 Montvue for being recognized with the BEE Award. Patience was nominated by a patient’s family member for going above and beyond her role as a PCA and providing excellent care to her patients and their families during their hospital stay.

Patience’s Nomination

“Patience went above and beyond her role as PCA. She took our family member in a wheelchair to a window in the hall. The patient’s husband was anxiously waiting in the parking lot. Her husband was COVID positive and unable to be with her for her brain biopsy earlier in the week. They had not seen each other since the malignant brain tumor diagnosis. Patience arranged a meeting place, time, and transportation. It was a moment they will never forget.”
