Pam’s Nomination

“I have had probably 6 MRIs at Parkwest and have always been treated very well. But recently I had to have a very extensive MRI
(approximately 2 hours and I experience severe anxiety from all that loud banging not the claustrophobic conditions). My doctor is great about medication to help mitigate a lot of the anxiousness but 2 hours? I expressed this to Ms. Pam and asked for ear plugs and foam ear pads but in the past, it hasn’t helped a lot. Well Ms. Pam to the rescue, she pulls out headphones so I can listen to music to drown out the noise. To me a God send, I actually dozed off in the machine, honestly, I did. I know this sounds so trivial to some but those out there who suffer the same anxiety you get me. So, to me she exemplifies that “going the extra mile when she didn’t have to.” I have worked in the funeral industry for 34 and I always strive for that “little extra” for my families. Pam is definitely an asset to your radiology department 10/10.”
