Erin’s Nomination

“We have been trying to open the Discharge Pharmacy at Peninsula Hospital for the past year. Erin has worked tirelessly with IT over computer issues, Point of Sale issues and Hilo issues. None of this is in a pharmacist’s role or job description but she is determined to get everything up and running to take better care of our patients.

The discharge pharmacy will not only help us provide medications for our patients but and decrease turnaround time to fill beds faster. Erin is doing all of this in addition to her current pharmacist job duties. Erin is committed to making sure that this pharmacy opens and opens correctly and learning the new IT processes as they are being rolled out. We appreciate her commitment to patient care and making sure that it is not just done but done correctly.”
