Job Opportunities at Covenant Health Fitness Center

Instruct members on the proper use of all exercise equipment at the fitness center. Experience and knowledge of fitness equipment and principles of weight training necessary. Also responsible for monitoring members’ heart rates, demonstrating proper stretching techniques, as well as monitoring and updating the fitness programs of members.

Teach and motivate children age 7-13 to stretch and exercise on a continual basis to improve their fitness levels. Previous babysitting experience helpful.

Responsible for the instruction of aquatics programs and protecting the safety of swimmers at the fitness center. American Red Cross Certificate of Completion for Lifeguarding preferred. CPR and First Aid certifications required. Also responsible for the cleanliness and maintenance of the pools and surrounding areas, including controlling chemical balancing and light maintenance.

Greet, assist and direct all incoming telephone calls, visitors and other customers in a courteous and professional manner. Responsible for providing a strong customer service presence at the front desk to make everyone feel welcome. Good organizational and communication skills, word processing and experience using basic office equipment is required.

Provide developmentally appropriate educational opportunities for children to prepare for next classroom. We are committed to providing personalized care, ensuring that each child receives the attention and wonderful childcare they deserve. Our programs include a variety of educational and recreational activities that are tailored to meet diverse needs and designed to promote early childhood development. We require 1-3 years child care experience, CPR and First Aid renewed annually.

Responsible for directly contributing to the cleanliness of the facility and many other housekeeping
operations. Cleans and sanitizes rooms and furnishing following established policies, procedures, and schedules to maintain high standards of cleanliness and sanitation throughout the facility.
