Roane Medical Center Earns 5-Star CMS Rating for Nurse Communication

HARRIMAN, TENN. – October 2025 – Roane Medical Center is proud to be recognized by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) with a 5-star rating for nurse communication. This recognition places it among the top hospitals in the nation for excellence in patient experience.

This recognition is based on data from the Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (HCAHPS) survey. It reflects how well nurses communicate with patients—specifically how clearly they explain things, how carefully they listen, and how respectfully they treat those in their care. The data, collected between October 2023 and September 2024, was released by CMS on August 6, 2025.
