Fort Sanders Regional Recognizes Clinical Excellence

Fort Sanders Regional recently announced the 2017 recipients of the hospital’s annual Clinical Excellence in Nursing Awards. More than 60 staff members throughout the facility were recognized during a special National Nurses Week ceremony and comprised the largest group yet to be honored.

The awards signify the exceptional care and compassion that the honored individuals regularly give to their patients in areas throughout the hospital. For nursing excellence honorees, the awards are especially meaningful because the employees are nominated by their nursing co-workers who provide care alongside them. The final winners are then selected by a panel of hospital leaders that includes past honorees.
