February DAISY Award Winner – Sierra McAllister

Sierra McAllister, a nurse in the emergency department, is the recipient of our February DAISY Award. Sierra was nominated by a colleague for her tenacity to always do what is right for her patients. She recently detected a rare medical condition in a patient due to her resolution to stop and ask questions and fully assess her patients. Her nominator noted that Sierra’s clinical instincts are second to none and she has a true passion caring for others.
