Covenant Health Named to National List of “America’s Greatest Workplaces for Gen Z”

May 2025 – Covenant Health has been named to a list of greatest workplaces in the country. Newsweek’s 2025 list of “America’s Greatest Workplaces for Gen Z” highlights workplaces that meet key criteria Gen Z workers (individuals born between 1997 and 2012) look for in an organization. Covenant Health was one of ten employers in Tennessee recognized in the “health care” category.

The list recognizes organizations “that excel in areas such as belonging and community, sustainability, compensation and benefits, training and career progression, work-life balance, mental wellbeing, job security and overall corporate culture.”

More than 75,000 Gen Z employees were surveyed to provide understanding on the workplace experiences, values and expectation of its generation. In addition to analyzing survey results, Newsweek also evaluated publicly accessible data and conducted interviews with human resources professionals when creating its list of Greatest Workplaces.

Covenant Health has partnerships with several local high schools, colleges and universities to help attract Gen Z workers and aid in their professional development. It also has numerous continuing education programs for those looking to grow their careers in healthcare.

Earlier this year, Covenant Health was also named to Newsweek’s “America’s Greatest Workplaces for Diversity” and “America’s Greatest Workplaces for Women” 2025 lists.
