Congratulations to Ahniah, night shift PCA on 5 Riverstone, for being presented with the BEE Award. Ahniah was nominated by a patient and a patient’s brother-in-law for the excellent care and compassion she provided. Read her nomination below:

Ahniah’s Nominations
“Ahniah is a very efficient and special employee. She is very personable and treats my brother-in-law with respect and humility. She comes into his room just to check on him. She does not wait for assistance in caring for him. Ahniah immediately cares for him. She takes control and gets her job completed in an efficient and timely manner. Even though she is a small lady, she rolled my brother-in-law over and cleaned him very proficiently and with great respect. She truly goes the extra mile with enthusiasm and a smile on her face.”
Nominated by: Kenneth, a patient’s brother-in-law
“Ahniah was training another employee, whom she introduced and told me they would be my CNAs for the night, if I needed anything she would be right there. She was showing and telling the other girl everything she would need to know. She answered every question the girl had, even when the girl didn’t understand, Ahniah never once seemed to get upset. She just kept explaining until the new girl understood how to do something. I worked in another hospital for 35 years and never saw such a good trainer. I think she is very deserving of the BEE Award.”
