Covenant Health Recognized as One of 2026’s “America’s Greatest Workplaces for Women”

February 2026 – Covenant Health has been recognized as one of “America’s Greatest Workplaces for Women 2026” by Newsweek. It was one of 37 companies in Tennessee recognized, and one of 16 in the state’s healthcare industry. It is the third consecutive year Covenant Health has been included on the list.

Companies with more than 1,000 employees were considered for the “Greatest Workplaces for Women” list. Over 89,000 female employees were surveyed from April to October 2025, which generated 1.1 million company reviews. An additional 2.3 million reviews collected from studies conducted between 2022 to 2024 were also included in the scoring.

Further research analyzed over 37 million data points across more than 120 key performance indicators tied to workplace performance to compile the list. Metrics tied to women employee satisfaction, such as gender equality, fairness and inclusion, were given more weight during scoring. KPIs covered categories such as the share of women in management and leadership positions; published environmental, social and governance frameworks; Equal Employment Opportunity Commission EEO-1 and diversity reports; and company programs in place dedicated to supporting women in the workplace.
