Knoxville, Tenn. – May 2023 – Covenant Health leaders Gordon Lintz and Jason Pilant were both recognized on the 2023 Becker’s Hospital Review’s list of “107 Community Hospital CEOs to Know.” Lintz is the president and chief administrative officer at Morristown-Hamblen Healthcare System, and Pilant is the president and chief administrative officer at Roane Medical Center, both member hospitals of Covenant Health.

Becker’s Hospital Review, a publication focusing on hospital business news for healthcare executives, notes that leaders named to this national list ensure patients in their communities have access to affordable community care, including areas such as acute care, primary care, rehabilitation and other public health services.

Morristown-Hamblen Healthcare System, located in Morristown, Tennessee, serves eight counties in the Lakeway region, bringing a multitude of services to the area, including stroke care, primary care, imaging and diagnostics and women’s services. Lintz has been the president and chief administrative officer of the hospital since 2012 and has focused on improving access to high-quality healthcare and recruiting more physicians to the area. He is involved with several local organizations and works with them to identify healthcare needs of the community and opportunities for health education.

Roane Medical Center, located in Harriman, Tennessee, offers a range of services, including stroke care, critical care, cardiopulmonary rehabilitation and sleep disorder treatment. Pilant has served as the president and chief administrative officer since 2017, overseeing hospital operations and business plans. His focus on creating a “patient first” culture has led to improvements in patient safety and the establishment of best safety practices. He also works with local community groups and leaders to promote the healthcare services and other health resources available at the hospital.
