About Me
Dr. Huffman completed his internal medicine residency at The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio and his gastroenterology fellowship at Baylor Scott & White Health in Bell County, Texas. He was trained in endoscopic ultrasound (EUS) and endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP), a specialized technique used to study the bile ducts, pancreatic duct and gallbladder. He has presented at national meetings and published articles and abstracts about celiac disease, acute acalculous cholecystitis (inflammatory disease of the gallbladder); long QT syndrome (heart rhythm condition); and drug-resistant tuberculosis before and after new antibiotics.
