Aleighia Helderman, DMD

About Me

Dr. Helderman has been a resident of Morristown since 2012 when she bought Morristown Pediatric Dentistry and started her journey providing care for the children in the Lakeway area. She was born and raised in Oxford, North Carolina. Dr. Helderman graduated from NC State University in 2002 with a degree in Biology, then attended the University of Louisville where she completed her Doctor of Dental Medicine Degree in 2008. In 2010, Dr. Helderman completed her Pediatric Dental Residency certificate and a Master’s degree at the University of Kentucky. Dr. Helderman is a member of the American Dental Association and American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry which ensures that she stays up-to-date on the best techniques and materials to serve our community. She and her husband, Jared have a daughter, Bellamy and three labradoodle fur babies Lexi, Lily, and Layla. When she’s not educating patients and parents on having a health smile, she’s spending time with her daughter. You may see Dr. Helderman out in the community as she serves on the Board of Morristown Chamber of Commerce, Chair of the Helping Young Professionals Excel (HYPE) Board, and has assisted Hamblen County Foundation for Educational Excellence and Achievement (HC*Excell) on their Ready by 6 Health Equity Committee.
