About Me
Dr. T.D. Williams, originally from Cape Coral, Florida, came to Knoxville in 1988 to attend The University of Tennessee and has called Knoxville home for the past 30 years. Prior to becoming a physician, Dr. Williams served the public for 19 years as a firefighter/paramedic and Flight Medic for UT LifeStar. He earned his medical degree from Lincoln Memorial University’s DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his residency at The University of Tennessee Medical Center in Family Medicine, serving as Chief Resident during his final year. Dr. Williams and his wife, Jennifer, a high school English teacher, have three active children who keep them busy with rodeos/barrel racing, football, basketball, and dance competitions. Dr. Williams and his family enjoy spending time together – working in the garden, riding horses, fishing, being on the lake, and attending UT sporting events.
