Formerly from Chattanooga, Tennessee, Dr. Hixson attended medical school at the University of Tennessee Health and Science Center in Memphis. Following his residency, he completed a 2-year Interventional Neuroradiology fellowship at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, VA.
