About Me
Dr. Ramsey has been practicing general urology in Knoxville since 2002, when he joined Urology Consultant of Knoxville, now Tennessee Urology. His practice has a special concentration in robot-assisted laparoscopic procedures, including prostatectomy, pyeloplasty, and ureteral reconstruction. Dr. Ramsey has done more than 1,900 robotic-assisted procedures and is one of the leading surgeons in the region for robotic surgeries. He also focuses on bladder cancer, kidney stone disease, BPH/enlarged prostate, including the minimally invasive UroLift®System treatment, and vasectomy.
Dr. Ramsey received his Doctor of Medicine degree from the Medical College of Ohio in 1997. He completed his internship in general surgery and his residency in urology at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center.
He inducted into the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society in 1996. Dr. Ramsey is certified by the American Board of Urology.
