Wenjia Xu, MD

Dr. Wenjia Xu is a general surgeon with Surgical Associates of East Tennessee in Morristown, TN. Dr. Xu specializes in general surgery, with a special interest in robotic and laparoscopic gastrointestinal surgery, hernia surgery, endoscopy, and wound care. He obtained his bachelor’s degree in music performance, and ultimately decided to pursue medical school and completed his general surgery residency in Knoxville, TN. When he’s not practicing medicine, Dr. Xu enjoys playing the violin, hiking, kayaking, and bird watching. “I am excited to be a part of and serve this wonderful community. I look forward to being with my patients every step along the way to help guide them through the entire treatment process.
