LeConte Medical Center and Cumberland Medical Center were named a “Best Maternity Hospital” in 2020 by Newsweek Magazine.
BEST for Babies Award
The BEST for Babies Award recognizes hospitals for their efforts to reduce infant deaths in Tennessee. The BEST award stands for higher rates of breastfeeding, early elective delivery reduction and safe sleep for Tennessee babies and is a designation from the Tennessee Hospital Association and the Tennessee State Department of Health.
